Chester County police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian on Tuesday evening.

The vehicle was traveling south on Chester Road in Chester when it struck the person at Whistle Stop Road at about 7:55 p.m., police said. The site is near Thomas Dale High School.

The pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries on Tuesday night, police said.

Chester Road was closed between Route 10 and the 11700 block of Chester Road.
