The Minnesota Golden Gophers football team has a bye this week to rest and recuperate after the first half of the season but the team now knows when it'll play next.
On Monday, the Big Ten announced kickoff times and broadcast information for the final weekend of October, setting the Gophers and Maryland Terrapins for a 2:30 p.m. start on Oct. 26. That game, which is also Homecoming for Minnesota, will be broadcast on FS1.

The Gophers (4-3, 2-2 in conference play) and Terrapins (3-3, 0-3 in conference play) last played in 2021 - a 34-16 Gophers victory.
That matchup will be just Minnesota's second 2:30 p.m. start this season, with the other one being the Sept. 14 game against Nevada, also at Huntington Bank Stadium.
Monday's news means that only three Minnesota games don't have start times yet: at Illinois on Nov. 2, at Rutgers on Nov. 9, and vs. Penn State on Nov. 23. Kickoff times for those games will be announced six to 12 days before each matchup.
Minnesota will then finish the season at Wisconsin on Nov. 29 - a Black Friday border battle. That game has already been set for an 11 a.m. start and will be televised nationally on CBS.
