THE Ayrshire Hospice's Make a Will Fortnight fund-raising campaign is returning next month.
From October 14-28, solicitors will make or update your will in exchange for a donation to the hospice.
Suggested donations are lower than the current market rate, and all proceeds will enable the charity to continue providing palliative care and services across Ayrshire and Arran.
Lucy Glendinning, senior fund-raiser for individual giving and legacies, said: "Last year, gifts in wills, including the Make a Will Fortnight, raised enough to fund a quarter of our in-patient costs in East Ayrshire Community Hospital.
"This is a crucial part of the hospice's income, and would not be possible without the support of local solicitors and members of the community who so kindly choose to take part.
"This is a great opportunity to have your will made or updated by a local solicitor, and to make a real difference to patients and families in your local area."
