The Midland County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit and SWAT team arrested a 51-year-old man Wednesday while executing a search warrant.

According to a press statement from the Sheriff's office, the search warrant was served in the 1700 block of West County Road 117 in Midland. During the search warrant, narcotics investigators located suspected fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine, suspected cocaine and two handguns.

The search led to the arrest of Rodney Sanchez Lopez. Lopez was charged with two counts of the Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center. The Sheriff's office has advised that this investigation is ongoing and further charges remain pending.
