Several apartment buildings caught fire Wednesday afternoon in the second major building fire of the day.
The Park 80 apartments at Arville Street and Sirius Avenue caught fire just before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Officials have not released a cause for the fire at this time.
The condition of the fire is currently unknown, but a fire official said at the scene said the initial call started at "at least" a two-alarm fire.
Dozens of firefighters from Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue could be seen helping put out the blaze, with crews entering the buildings at times to help stop the blaze. At least six fire trucks could be seen responding and firing water on to the roofs of the buildings.
This is still a developing story.
