OKC Thunder prepares post-All-Star break schedule with healthiest they've been all season

As the Oklahoma City Thunder prepare for their post-All-Star break schedule, they'll enter the final 28 games the healthiest they've been all season.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said everybody participated in Thursday's practice, per BSO's Daniel Bell. That means Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso and Ousmane Dieng are good to go for their first game back against the Utah Jazz on Friday, Feb. 21 after a much-needed week off.

Wallace missed seven games with a shoulder strain. Caruso missed one game with hip tightness. Dieng missed five games with a calf strain.

Of course, Nikola Topic and Ajay Mitchell remain out. Topic will miss his first year from a torn ACL. He's been more active recently. Meanwhile, Mitchell continues to be in a walking boot after toe surgery. He'll be re-evaluated in April.

Besides those two though, everybody else on the roster returns from the All-Star break refreshed and ready. It's a nice change of pace after the Thunder spent the first two-thirds of the season juggling injuries. The biggest was Chet Holmgren's hip fracture which cost him three months.

Now that the Thunder enters the home stretch of the regular season, they hope for better injury luck the rest of the way. Barring a historical collapse, OKC will clinch the first seed for the second straight year. The real test will be at the playoffs, where the Thunder hope to see their main rotation players available.
