Corsair Vengeance CUDIMM DDR5 Reaches 10000 MT/s On The ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF

Corsair is now among the first ones to reach 10000 MT/s of memory speed with its Vengeance DDR5 CUDIMM memory.

Corsair is one of the leading memory manufacturers, known for its Vengeance and Dominator series RAM modules. Not only does the company make affordable & premium gaming memory kits, but it is now also breaking records with the upcoming memory lineup.

The company is about to make its debut with its first CUDIMM DDR5 memory next month but has already conducted an overclocking experiment with the early samples. It boasted about the overclocking results on X, announcing that it had reached a whopping 10000 MT/s with the Vengeance CUDIMM DDR5 memory.

As we can see from the CPU-Z window, the CUDIMM did reach 5000.6 MHz clock speed, which makes it among the top 5 memory makers to reach 10000 MT/s. Before Corsair, Colorful and V-Color reached 10000 MT/s with their CUDIMMs. The V-Color CUDIMM still has the lead with 12066 MT/s on the Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard.

Nonetheless, the Corsair Vengeance CUDIMM DDR5 looks promising on paper and reached this speed at 1.5V at CAS48-60-60-157. Even though it isn't the best latency we have seen at this speed, it is still satisfactory. As per the CPU-Z window, 10000 MT/s was achieved on the flagship ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard, which is different from the Z809 Taichi, which we reviewed recently.

The Vengeance CUDIMM uses the SK Hynix die and is XMP 3.0 compatible, which helps it achieve this clock speed. The module used featured a 24 GB capacity and was used in another overclocking test as a part of a 48 GB kit as shown by Corsair. The other test resulted in 9732 MT/s of memory speed at CAS46-60-60-154 at 1.45V, which is still an impressive feat achieved by a 48 GB memory kit.

Corsair says that these sticks will be out in early November, which is the same time when other memory makers are expected to debut their CUDIMMs. The Vengeance CUDIMM DDR5 should be available in 24 GB single and 48 GB dual channel kits, but we don't know their prices yet.
