MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman was arrested on Monday after police say she attacked her boyfriend and stabbed him in the neck earlier this month.
On October 10, officers responded to the 2700 block of Davies Plantation Road in Cordova, where a man claimed his girlfriend, Terriyana Bolton had stabbed him with a sharp object.
The victim told Memphis Police that Bolton showed up at his uncle's house where he was living, unannounced, looking for a trashcan. He said Bolton broke the garage door to get into the house.
The victim said he confronted Bolton and she came at him with a taser and "sharp objects." He knocked the taser out of Bolton's hand and she "poked him" in the side of the neck with the sharp object.
Reports say Bolton then stabbed the victim in the neck and right arm. He ran into the house from the garage, but Bolton allegedly followed him inside, attempting to stab him again.
The victim's uncle was able to stop Bolton.
According to reports, the victim sustained three stab marks to his neck and a scratch to his right arm.
Bolton is charged with Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault. She is being held on a $10,000 bond.
