Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick says the event will feature 23 locally owned businesses. Patrick says this is an opportunity for these local businesses to showcase their creativity and culinary skills.
Chef Jason de la Sota from Root 76 Cuisine says his burger will be an ancho-pork belly onion ring burger. Chef Jason has been cooking for three decades and decided to open his own business two years ago. Chef Jason is one of many chefs who is excited to share their meals with the community.
Each burger will have a maximum price of $10, which does not include a drink or sides.
Participants can download a Burger Week Passport. The passport will help you earn points for each burger you eat. Restaurants will give you a PIN code that will be entered in your passport and that will count towards your prize.
Passport participants can earn the following prizes:
