It's been 10 years since downtown San Jose's SoFA Market opened its doors in the South First Street arts and entertainment corridor with a wide culinary array of locally owned restaurants.

Developed by the late architect Thang Do, the food hall is now run by his wife, Grace Do, who was honored Sept. 13 by community leaders for the decade of success. The general manager is Jennifer Echeverri, owner of Habana Cuba.

The pair decided that the occasion calls for $10 deals, and all of the restaurateurs are taking part. The promotion runs through Sept. 30. To take advantage of the deals, show the link or QR code at www.sofamarketsj.com/10-year-anniversary.

The Fountainhead Bar: Created for the anniversary, the colorful "Buenos Diez" cocktail combines indigo-hue Butterfly vodka, coconut, ginger, lemon and triple sec.
