The increases were paired with an announcement that the streaming service had drawn almost 19 million subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The plan with ads, which currently costs $6.99 per month, will increase by a dollar to $7.99. It's the first subscription price hike for the plan since it was introduced in 2022.
Meanwhile, Netflix's standard ad-free plan is going up by $2.50, from $15.49 to $17.99 per month.
The premium plan, which allows for four simultaneous ad-free streams, will surge $2, to $24.99 per month.
Want to add someone to your Netflix account?
The fee for that is increasing a dollar, too, to $8.99 per month. (The price of doing so is $6.99 for the ad-supported plan.)
These changes apply to each customer's next billing period. The last price hikes for the streamer, which plans to build a studio at Fort Monmouth, arrived in 2023.
