OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) -- Overall ethanol production in the United States averaged 1.042 million barrels per day (bpd) in the week ended Oct. 11, according to the latest Energy Information Administration data, up 4,000 bpd week-on-week to a four-week high and 0.7% higher than in the same week last year. Four-week average output at 1.022 million bpd was 8,000 bpd above the same four weeks last year.
Midwest ethanol production averaged 985,000 bpd, up 6,000 bpd week-on-week while unchanged versus the same week last year. Four-week average output at 964,000 bpd was 3,000 bpd above the same four weeks last year.
