A woman was found dead at a bus stop near Koreatown Thursday, authorities said.

Police received reports of the body at the intersection of Olympic and Crenshaw Boulevards around 3:15 p.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The caller told police the body appeared to have been at the location for 10 to 12 hours, according to police.

The circumstances surrounding the woman's death remained unclear, and an investigation was ongoing.
