Dynamo Kyiv manager Oleksandr Shovkovskyi attended tonight's pre-match presser on the eve of the Europa League fixture with Roma.
While speaking to the media, Shovkovskyi spoke about Thursday night's challenge.
"Our team has many problems both financially and logistically, also with regards to the signing of players from abroad. And this also affects the way the team plays."
"We are playing the Europa League and the teams are very strong and prepared. For us it is very important to play the European cups to develop our players and gain experience. We want to reach the level of Serie A, which in our opinion is fifth in terms of quality in Europe."
"This stage is important for us; we can play with the best teams in Europe, which are well prepared. We want to do everything to reach this level, I hope that these matches will give us the opportunity to raise the level of Ukrainian football."
"Roma have changed coach and I have studied Juric's team. They concede few goals, keep possession of the ball a lot and show very aggressive football."
"As for the match with Inter, I saw two teams that played at the same level, the match was very balanced. Only one episode decided it and Roma had many chances. Dovbyk also added a lot of dynamism and physicality to the team."
"Tomorrow will be very difficult and I think Roma is one of the best in Europe. We will try to take advantage of our opportunities, we will try to be compact in defense."
