Bill Belichick, UNC football land talented linebacker in transfer portal

North Carolina's success in the transfer portal continued on Saturday afternoon, landing another commitment from a visit.

With former Washington linebacker Khmori House on a visit Saturday, the talented player saw enough from the program to make a decision. And he's a Tar Heel.

House committed to North Carolina while on his visit, giving UNC another commitment this week. This is one of the biggest for the Tar Heels so far, landing the former four-star recruit.

House played his high school ball at St. John's Bosco and committed to Washington. He played one season with the Huskies and showed some promise before entering the portal. In his lone season at Washington, House finished with 33 tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception.

The 6-foot, 213-pound linebacker was coached by Bill Belichick's son, Steve, during that one season and he could play under him once again at North Carolina if the hire is made.

With UNC re-tooling its roster, landing a premier talent like House is a good start for Belichick and the program.
