Prescott Police are investigating a suspicious death in the 900 block of Fair Street after responding to a call for a welfare check Dec. 19.

As officers arrived at about 10 p.m., the call escalated into a medical-response call as 67-year-old Steven Bacon was found unresponsive in his home. Livesaving measures were attempted, but Bacon was declared dead at the scene.
