FAIRFIELD -- The Rodriguez High School girls basketball team couldn't keep pace with visiting Sacramento and lost to the Dragons, 59-35, on Tuesday night.

La Ne Dunn led Sacramento with a game-high 27 points. Mia Marquez had 13 to lead Rodriguez and Alexis Williams had 11 points. Rodriguez fell to 7-9 and 1-4 in the Monticello Empire League.

Sacramento led every quarter and put the game away with a 32-16 edge in the second half.

Rodriguez will be back in action Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. game at Vanden.
