Former USC running back, Lendale White has a few choice words for Trojans head coach, Lincoln Riley, after a 26-21 loss to Washington.
"Lincoln u are f*****g stealing from USC. Donate ur salary to help recruit that coaching job u doing ain't helping sh*t,", White posted from his personal X account.
As you scroll through White's page, it's clear that he is very disgruntled with how things have been going in Southern California. According to White, the Trojans have been mediocre for the past two decades. Since 2010, during the post-Pete Carroll era, the Trojans have only appeared in one Rose Bowl.
In the Riley era, the Trojans have been average. One season with 11 wins, and three seasons with three-plus losses. It's not hard to understand White's issue with Riley.
Riley is safe for now but the detractors are starting to appear. Paul Finebaum has also publicly called for USC to end the Riley era after a 2-5 in the program's first season in the Big Ten with road losses to Maryland and Minnesota. Lincoln Riley is still confident and remains positive about his team's season.
"It's not like we're getting our ass kicked," Riley said in the postgame conference (h/t On3). "It's not like I go back to the drawing board like gah, we're doing this terrible, and people are wearing us out on this or that. It's not that."
