December 17, 2024 // Franchising.com // EDMONTON, Alberta - Pearle Vision expands its footprint in the Edmonton, Alberta area thanks to franchise owner Dr. Omar El-Houchaimi.

Dr. El-Houchaimi currently owns three Pearle Vision locations in Alberta including Hinton, Spruce Grove and White Court. All were independent optical stores that he purchased and converted to the Pearle Vision brand. Omar is now expanding his impact by opening his first-ever new build franchise location within the city, which he plans to launch in 2025 at 443 Mistatim Way NW in Edmonton, Alberta.

This state-of-the-art optical center is a milestone for franchise owner Dr. Omar El-Houchaimi, a respected optometrist with over 20 years of experience with Pearl Vision. This new Edmonton practice is his fourth Pearle Vision location but marks his first from-the-ground-up build, bringing additional high quality eye care to even more residents in his community.

Dr. El-Houchaimi, a University of Alberta alumnus and clinical professor who has trained optometry interns in Edmonton, is passionate about elevating the standard of eye care in the region. After years of managing converted practices, he's excited to build a new Pearle Vision location, serving Edmonton's growing community through a patient-centric approach.

As a franchisee who balances his role as an optometrist with the responsibilities of a business owner, Dr. El-Houchaimi brings a diverse background to his leadership, including prior experience in franchising. His work ethic and business expertise are evident in his ability to manage multiple locations while remaining hands-on with patient care.

The new Pearle Vision location will offer a full range of eye care services, from comprehensive eye exams to prescription eyewear, contact lenses, and fashionable frames.
