Vangie Ruskowski, 92, of Ashuelot, passed away on Jan. 12, 2025.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1932, in Ashuelot, daughter of the late Alexander and Cecelia (Wozniak) Ruskowski.

Vangie enjoyed spending time with her sister, Valentina -- they traveled to Poland, England, France and Northwest Canada together. She liked to go hiking and walking, and going dancing in Greenfield, doing the polka and the waltz. She faithfully attended St. Stanislaus Church with her sister, Valentina.

Vangie also worked for many years as the secretary to the president at Keene State College until her retirement. During her time there they had an honorary dinner in her name to acknowledge the amazing work she had done.

Vangie was predeceased in death by her siblings, Raymond Ruskowski, Bernice Walendzik, Kenneth Ruskowski and Irene Macko.

Vangie is survived by her twin sister, Valentina, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place in the spring.
