Evacuation orders and warnings are in place for a Butte County wildfire that sparked Tuesday.The Thompson Fire is burning near Cherokee and Thompson Flat Cemetery roads near Oroville. As of 11:56 a.m., Cal Fire at least 15 acres have burned.AlertCalifornia cameras show a darker plume of smoke as of 11:47 a.m.The Butte County Sheriff's Office issued evacuation orders in response. You are lawfully required to leave immediately under evacuation orders because of the threat to safety.There are also evacuation warnings in place.
