CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The new Amtrak service "The Floridian" will offer daily service between Chicago and Miami, with a stop in Cleveland on the train that will start routes Sunday, November 10.
The train will make stops in major cities such as Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa before ultimately ending in Miami. It will essentially combine the current routes of Chicago to D.C. and then D.C. to Miami.
Currently, Amtrak's website shows reservations for this service costing around $500 with the average trip taking approximately 40 hours.
It is unknown as of now if this price could decrease.
