JUNO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) -- The Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) recently welcomed a new patient on Tuesday, Stanley, a juvenile green sea turtle needing care and rehabilitation.
LMC named the sea turtle after the Florida Panthers' mascot and the team's recent Stanley Cup Finals victory.

The treatment center said that Stanley was discovered floating near a dock in Palm Beach Gardens and brought to LMC for treatment.
Upon arrival, the LMC hospital team found that Stanley was anemic and unable to dive due to an impaction.
To address these issues, Stanley is currently undergoing treatment at LMC with antibiotics, vitamins, intravenous fluids, and proper nutrition to help clear the obstruction.
