SILVER ALERT: Deerfield Beach Man Is Missing, Police Statewide Seek Help - BocaNewsNow.com

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) -- A man from Deerfield Beach is the subject of a "Silver Alert" Monday. Police statewide are seeking assistance tracking down Theophilus Worrell.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Worrell was last seen in the area of the 330 block of Northeast 48th Street in Deerfield Beach. He was seen wearing a green baseball hat, green and beige striped shirt, and ripped blue jeans. It is possible that he's traveling in a 1999 Red Ford Explorer with Florida license plate EYQN43. There are bumper stickers across the bumper and rear window.

Worrell is 78-years-old. He is described as a black male with gray hair, brown eyes, is 5-foot-10, and weighs 170 pounds. Police did not say which direction he may have been heading, if they even know.
