New Orleans Police searching for man who allegedly threatened RTA bus driver, employee

New Orleans Police are searching for a man who allegedly hit and threatened an RTA bus driver.Police say on Dec. 12 around 9:49 p.m. a man boarded an RTA bus at Canal and S. Prieur St. without paying the fare. When the driver and another employee intervened, the suspect hit the driver with an object and threatened to kill the driver and employee before leaving the scene. Anyone with information regarding the crime or the identity of the suspect is asked to call First District detectives at 504-658-6010 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
