To the editor: On June 25, I was privileged to attend an inspiring Kids4Harmony concert at Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood.

Hearing these young (some very young) musicians play their pieces with such obvious joy and pride and listening to their talks between pieces reminded me yet again of how this wonderful organization reaches something in the hearts and minds of youngsters in Pittsfield and North Adams.

Kudos to the staff and to the donors who make all of this possible. You are all remarkable people and we are lucky to have you in our midst. And to the "kids" who make this wonderful music come to life, a little piece of advice: The next time that you are at a rehearsal, look to your left and look to your right. There you will see your heroes and heroines. Be like them. And thank you for a wonderful evening.
