BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - A new expression of art is on display in front of the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center, the first of several across the community.

Arts of Southern Kentucky is pushing for public art to take root in Bowling Green. This morning in front of SKyPAC, a bronze statue titled "Dancing in The Spirit" was unveiled to the public, designed by native sculptor Russell Faxon.

ASK told Bowling Green today that more public art will be coming, hinting at the area around Bowling Green Municipal Utilities. Today was meant to be a stimulus to the community and encourage creativity in the area from businesses, non-profits and community spaces.
