Transformers One -- which stars the voices of Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry and Scarlett Johansson -- is coming soon to Paramount+.
Transformers One opened in theaters on September 20 before pivoting to digital streaming via premium video on demand on October 22.
The film's official logline reads, "Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever."
Paramount Pictures announced Thursday that Transformers One will begin streaming on Paramount+ on Friday, November 15.
According to The Numbers, Transformers One grossed nearly $59 million domestically and $69.7 million internationally for a worldwide box office total of $128.7 million to date against a $75 million production budget before prints and advertising.
Rotten Tomatoes critics collectively gave the film an 89% "fresh" rating based on 159 reviews. The RT Critics' Consensus for the movie reads, "Dramatically satisfying with a dash of good humor, Transformers One suggests that animation might be the optimal medium for this oft-adapted franchise."
Among the individual RT critics who gave Transformers One a "fresh" rating is Variety's Todd Gilchrist, who writes, "While still delivering the fun and excitement expected of Hasbro's metamorphosizing robots, Transformers One approaches the well-known characters with a degree of nuance and complexity that marks the most sophisticated onscreen portrait of them to date."
Barry Hertz is among the RT-approved critics who gave Transformers One a "rotten" rating on RT.
In his review in the Globe and Mail, Hertz writes, "Ultimately the film struggles to balance its various commitments, with a screenplay that never seems sure of whether it wants to be a pure comedy, a lore-packed adventure or a peppy children's film that shuffles kids straight to the toy aisle."
Transformers One also received a stellar 98% Audience Score based on 2,500-plus verified ratings.
