The 2024 WNBA rookie class one impressive group. While the Chicago Sky lost to the Minnesota Lynx 70-62 on June 30, forward Angel Reese got her name written in the league's history books.

Reese became the first player in WNBA history to score 10 consecutive double-doubles in a single season.

With 23.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter, and Reese taking a free throw, the point she needed to reach the historic double-double, the cameras panned to the rookie's mother, also named Angel Reese.

Reese's mother's nerves were on full display at the Wintrust Arena, a relatable reaction for all WNBA fans watching. One fan posted, "I know Angel mama be stressed cuz I be stressed...."

Another person responded, "Always awesome to see it don't matter how old your kid is, you still cheer like they're the 10 year old little one." One woman commented, "I feel you mama. My nerves were shot!"

While it would've been great if the Sky also defeated Minnesota, Chicago will try to get back in the win column when they face the Atlanta Dream on July 2.
