BOLIVAR -- The Lincoln men's soccer team picked up its second consecutive win with a 5-0 victory Sunday against Southwest Baptist in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Lincoln took a 1-0 advantage into intermission on a goal by Hadri Lopez. Rajae Lawrence picked up an assist on the score.
Shandree Brooks doubled Lincoln's lead less than two minutes into the second half off an assist by Jonas Mueller. Kevon Maitland scored on a penalty kick to make it 3-0, before Christopher Hull scored in the 64th minute to extend Lincoln's advantage. Brooks closed the scoring with his second goal of the contest.
Vincent Osei did not have to make a save in picking up the shutout in goal. Southwest Baptist finished with five shots.
Southwest Baptist is now 2-2-3 overall, 1-1-1 in the GLVC.
Lincoln (3-1-1, 2-1) is back in action Friday at Missouri-St. Louis. The contest is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
