Four Phillies are Gold Glove Finalists

Zack Wheeler, Bryce Harper, Bryson Stott, and Brandon Marsh have all been named as finalists for the National League Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Qualifications via Rawlings.com:

Ranger Suarez once again did not qualify for a Gold Glove, which is unfortunate. Suarez is one of the best defensive pitchers in all of baseball, and would most likely win the award if he qualified. Pitchers must have 138 innings logged by the team's 138th game, and Suarez did not reach that count.

Bryce Harper has been named a finalist at first base in his first full season at the position. A Phillies first baseman has only won Gold Glove one time, when Bill White was awarded in 1966.

Bryson Stott is a finalist for the second year in a row. He'll look to become just the second all-time Phillies second baseman to win the award, joining Manny Trillo, who won in 1979, 1981, and 1982.

Brandon Marsh looks to become the first Phillies outfielder to win the award since Shane Victorino from 2008-2010.

Winners will be announced on November 3rd on a special episode of Baseball Tonight.
