Spotting A Ghost at Newport Opera House

Get ready for a spine-chilling evening as Adam Berry, renowned paranormal investigator and host of Travel Channel's "Kindred Spirits," brings his show "Real Ghost Stories" back to the historic Newport Opera House on Oct. 12, 2024. Fans of the supernatural won't want to miss this unique experience, where Berry will share some of his most intense paranormal encounters and investigations -- stories that have captivated television audiences for years.

The Newport Opera House Association is partnering with producers Nathan Gardner and Danny Brooke to bring the highly anticipated show back to where it all began. This will be the third time "Real Ghost Stories" is hosted in Newport, following its first debut back in 2021 which marked a celebratory reopening of the venue after the pandemic. The show played to a packed house, with fans eager to hear Berry's firsthand accounts of his paranormal investigations. Due to its overwhelming success, the production returned in 2022 and has since traveled to other states, sharing Berry's spooky tales with new audiences across the country.

"We began the show in Newport before taking it on the road, and now we're bringing it back to the Newport Opera House where it all began," said Gardner. "It's truly a made-in-New-Hampshire success story."

For those who have attended past performances, Berry promises some new and unseen material this year. Fans will hear never-before-told paranormal stories, along with his personal experiences that haven't made it to television. The audience can also look forward to a live question-and-answer session, followed by a post-show meet-and-greet with Berry himself.

And if that's not enough, take the paranormal experience to the next level with VIP tickets that offer an exclusive opportunity to join Berry in a private paranormal investigation of the Newport Opera House -- rumored to be haunted. In the past, investigations have uncovered compelling evidence of supernatural activity and Berry is looking forward to going on the hunt again, "I am so excited to be coming back to Newport. I love this town and this Opera House," he said in his recent press release. "We've always had great paranormal activity at our investigations here in the past, and I can't wait to see what happens this time!"

Berry's enthusiasm for the paranormal began after an intense haunting experience in Gettysburg, Pa. Over the years, he has honed his skills and knowledge, eventually co-founding a paranormal research team with his husband, Ben Berry. His expertise led to a starring role on "Ghost Hunters Academy," a paranormal reality show where he won the competition and earned a spot on the The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) team for the original "Ghost Hunters" series.

Together with Amy Bruni, Berry has traveled across the country investigating haunted locations and helping both spirits and families find peace. Their show "Kindred Spirits" has become a fan favorite, known for its emotional depth and focus on connecting with spirits with empathy and respect.

In addition to his television career, Berry is also an author. His book, "Goodbye Hello: Processing Grief and Understanding Death through the Paranormal," explores the relationship between grief, death and the paranormal. It offers insight into the afterlife and aims to help those dealing with loss understand the mysteries of life beyond death.

"Real Ghost Stories" is set for Oct. 12, 2024, at the Newport Opera House. Tickets are priced at $30 for general admission, $35 for premium seating and $70 for VIP tickets, which include the paranormal investigation with Adam Berry.
