No Cubs baseball Monday. Today the Phillies, minus Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper, visit the Friendly Confines for a three-game set. Ordinarily this series would be duck soup for the fightin' Phils, but who knows how good they'll be without those two superstars.

Hayden Wesneski (2-4, 3.60) and Michael Mercado, who has pitched one whole inning so far in his MLB career, are the expected starters. Mercado has been around since 2017, and his stats aren't prepossessing. Therefore, I expect him to dominate. We await developments™.
