300-yard TSSAA football outings among Nashville area boys athlete of the week nominees

Now, you get your chance to vote on the Nashville area's best as the TSSAA football playoffs approach.

Kaedyn Marable, BGA: Marable was in on just 16 plays and was 9-of-10 passing for 130 yards with three touchdowns, with two carries for 43 yards and a touchdown in a 49-7 win over Goodpasture.

Stephen Nieves, Columbia Academy: Nieves was 16-of-22 passing for 252 yards with two touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown as the Bulldogs defeated Grace Christian, 40-7.

Blake Owen, Cookeville: Owen completed 7-of-8 passes for 120 yards with two touchdowns and had 86 yards with three touchdowns rushing in Cookeville's 51-0 win over Wilson Central.

Charlie Speed, FRA: Speed had nine catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns in FRA's 52-6 win over Pope John Paul II.

Kannon Burroughs, Green Hill: Burroughs ran 21 times for 108 yards and a touchdown to help the Hawks reach 10-0 and defeat Mt. Juliet 12-10 for the Region 4-6A title.

Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: Blivens had 155 yards on 10 receptions as Lipscomb fell to McCallie, 42-28.

Mason Tidwell, Loretto: Tidwell was 7-of-9 passing for 95 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns in Loretto's 28-12 win over Mt. Pleasant.

Zach Borders, Macon County: Borders rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown as the Tigers finished the season 8-2 with a 54-0 win over Stone Memorial.

Jamahl Gentry, Marshall County: Gentry had 14 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown, helping the Tigers defeat Pearl-Cohn 24-21 in overtime for the Region 5-4A title.

TJ Ward, Nashville Christian: Ward had 169 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries in his first game back from injury in a 36-0 win over DCA that clinched the region title.

Isaac Otey, Page: Otey needed just three touches to gain 84 yards rushing and two touchdowns in Page's 42-0 win over Nolensville in the Region 6-5A championship.

Keilen Dalton, Portland: Dalton rushed 11 times for 196 yards and five touchdowns, finishing with 229 total yards as Portland cruised past Hunters Lane, 42-6.

Ethan Palk, Upperman: Palk rushed for 316 yards and four touchdowns to lead Upperman in a 44-14 win over DeKalb County.
