Chile Economic Activity Unexpectedly Contracts for Second Month

The Imacec index, a proxy for gross domestic product, fell 0.8% on the month, compared to the median estimate for no change from analysts in a Bloomberg survey. From the year earlier, activity was flat, the central bank reported Monday.
