Investigators report that the hit-and-run vehicle was a white Ford Flex SUV with a panoramic moonroof and a two-tone white and silver tailgate. It may have sustained damage from the incident.
The suspect vehicle struck a pedestrian in the 7 p.m. hour on Dec. 10 at the corner of Grant and Amherst streets in the city's Black Rock neighborhood.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Erie County Medical Center and later died.
Anyone with information is asked to call or text the Buffalo Police confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
