PHOENIX -- As 2024 nears a close, The UPS Store is looking to give back to the Arizona community with the holiday season approaching.

The UPS Store has given back to the community over the years nationwide with their Start Small, Grow Big program that provides children with lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Through their Junior Achievement program, Start Small, Grow Big, they have now more than 100 offices to help children succeed.

The UPS Store and KTAR News have teamed up together throughout the years to help give back to the communities in need in Arizona.

In 2024, The UPS Store sponsored KTAR's Food Bank Friday's, which brought in over $40,000 for St. Mary's Food Bank and The UPS Store donated $5,000. This helped provide more than 200,000 meals for families in the Valley.

The UPS Store has been involved in the Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children's for many years. In 2024 (and multiple before that) as the Champion of Hope sponsor. The UPS Store encouraged Valley consumers to visit The UPS Store near them and "Print for it for PCH!"

A portion of all printing services were donated to benefit Phoenix Children's. The UPS Store ended up giving a $20,000 check for Give-A-Thon and local UPS Store employees donated their time by answering phones during the event as well. Approximately $2.37 million was raised for Phoenix Children's.

UPS is once again joining up with KTAR News as they are the main sponsor of the KTAR Cares Collection Drive: Running through Dec. 6th, "Outspoken with Bruce & Gaydos" is hosting the KTAR Cares Collection Drive benefiting UMOM. Located in Phoenix, UMOM, provides shelter, housing, and services for people experiencing homelessness.

The drive will feature two-hour "Care Stops" at select Walgreens locations throughout the Valley, where they will encourage the community to donate basic household necessities. A donation box is also located in the KTAR News lobby.
