Willie Nelson will not perform in New Jersey this weekend, as the country music legend has been held off stage of late due to an undisclosed illness.
Nelson, 91, was scheduled to perform Sunday night at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel as part of his Outlaw Tour with Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Allison Krause and Celisse.
But an announcement posted to Nelson's Instagram page Friday said the "Always on My Mind" singer would not return to the road until next week. The other artists are scheduled to perform as normal.
It's unclear if Nelson plans to perform July 4 at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden.
Nelson began to miss shows last week, when another social media post said he was "not feeling well" but "expected to make a quick recovery."
