Martha Stewart's Beauty Routine Is 'Easier Than Making a Pot of Soup' -- and Hilary Duff Uses the Same Mascara

We should have known that this celeb-used beauty brand would be in Martha Stewart's makeup kit.

In an Instagram video shared to Merit Beauty's Instagram earlier this week, the 83-year-old showed off her under five-minute makeup routine -- which, plainly put, is "easier than making a pot of soup," according to the star.

And we spotted so much goodness in the clip: There was the bronzing balm that's been used on Lily Collins, the complexion stick that's part of Hilary Duff's makeup method, and, of course, the mascara that was once used on Collins, Duff, Mandy Moore, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

"I have nice long eyelashes, and I like to show them off," Stewart said while she coated hers with the brand's Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara. Smudge-free, yet still easy to take off with a cleanser, it's an easy-to-layer formula that adds a certain wispiness that so many of our natural lashes often lack. It won't leave your lashes feeling crunchy either since it has olive oil esters and fatty acids that your hair will drink right up.

It also "doesn't clump at all" and "stays on my whole work-day without fall-out," according to one shopper. And it may not be waterproof, but it's the "only one" a second shopper, who always gets "raccoon eyes," now wears.

Near the end of the video, the Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil made a cameo. A PEOPLE Tested winner, the $26 tube earned the title of our best long-lasting pick. What's more, its pigments will adapt to your pH, so it can change color slightly from person to person.

Though Stewart didn't use any blush from the brand -- which Cameron Diaz once called her "favorite" -- she did add some color and shimmer to her cheekbones with Merit's cream bronzer and champagne highlighter. She defined her eyes with a matte eyeshadow in the shade Vachetta.
